I live in Texas City, TX and have been making knives since November 2001. It all started with the bright idea of making knives for all the men in the family for Christmas. It made since to me at the time considering I have a small machine shop in my garage. I told my wife my idea and she inquired… “What about the women”? Needless to say my list grew from 10 knives to 30 knives. So I jumped in head first. It was quite the chore to get them all finished in time, but I did. Everyone seemed happy. And me… well it’s been an all consuming passion ever since.
I work for a major petrochemical company to pay the bills and put food on the table, but on my off time. I am almost always in my garage working on knives in some capacity. Most of what I have learned is self taught, but I’m no stranger to the forums and many tutorials available on the web. No matter how long I make knives, I will always be a student of the art/craft of knife making.
I really hope you enjoy what you see as much as I enjoyed making the knives your looking at. I like variety, but I’m also trying to settle into an identifiable style that I like and that is pleasing to others as well.
